Clifford Chance advises Carlyle and banks on £1bn acquisition of RAC
International law firm Clifford Chance has advised private equity house The Carlyle Group on its agreed £1bn acquisition of RAC from insurance group Aviva. Clifford Chance also advised the lending banks, which were led by JP Morgan and included Morgan Stanley, Credit Suisse, BNP Paribas and UBS.
Clifford Chance has a long-standing relationship with Carlyle and recently advised on the sale of The Carlyle Group's Wilhelm-Bergner-Straße Industrial Park in Hamburg.
