Clifford Chance advises RIM on its takeover of Ubitexx
The international law firm Clifford Chance advised the Canadian Blackberry manufacturer Research In Motion (RIM) on the acquisition of Ubitexx GmbH, Munich.
RIM intends to offer the management and security functions of the Blackberry Enterprise Server and Blackberry Enterprise Server Express for Blackberry devices as a cross-platform solution for smartphones and tablets running the Android and iOS operating systems.
Research In Motion (RIM) is a Canadian company developing, manufacturing and marketing mobile devices and solutions for global mobile communications. RIM is best known as the creator of the Blackberry smartphone.
Ubitexx develops and markets mobile device management services for a wide range of companies.
