Clifford Chance hires Mathieu Remy as Partner in the Paris M&A team

International law firm Clifford Chance announced today that Mathieu Remy, a leading French M&A lawyer, is to join the Firm as a Partner in the Paris office.

Mathieu Remy, currently a Partner at Shearman & Sterling, specialises in domestic and cross-border public and private M&A, as well as Joint Ventures and Private Equity. He has experience in working for major French banks and financial institutions on M&A activity and acting for a broad spectrum of French and international corporates in particular in the power and media sectors.
