Clifford Chance advises AEW on the acquisition of Nordbahnhof Carrée
The international law firm Clifford Chance advised the French investment company AEW Europe on the acquisition of the Nordbahnhof Carrée property located in Berlin for its real property fund Euroffice SAS. The sellers are Frankonia Eurobau AG and its project partner LVM Landwirtschaftlicher Versicherungsverein Münster a.G. It represents one of the largest single real property transactions concluded in 2010.
The construction of the Nordbahnhof Carrée building with office space of approximately 38,000 m2 will soon be completed. The lessee is Deutsche Bahn AG, whose employees will move into the building in February 2011. The lease agreement has a term of 15 years with a renewal option.

Die internationale Anwaltssozietät Clifford Chance hat die französische Investmentgesellschaft AEW Europe beim Erwerb des Nordbahnhof-Carrée in Berlin für seinen Immobilienfonds Euroffice SAS beraten. Verkäufer sind die Frankonia Eurobau AG und ihr Projektpartner, der LVM Landwirtschaftlicher Versicherungsverein Münster a.G. Es handelt es sich um eine der größten Immobilien-Einzeltransaktionen im Jahr 2010.
Die Fertigstellung des Nordbahnhof Carrée mit circa 38.000 Quadratmeter Bürofläche steht kurz bevor. Mieter ist die Deutsche Bahn AG, deren Mitarbeiter das Gebäude im Februar 2011 beziehen werden. Der Mietvertrag läuft über eine Laufzeit von 15 Jahren mit Verlängerungsoption.
