The end of the PPP saga for the National Commission of Statistics and Prognosis

As part of an announced plan to restructure the public private partnership projects framework, the Romanian Government has recently adopted the Government Emergency Ordinance no. 7/2020 (the "Ordinance 7") amending the Government Emergency Ordinance no. 39/2018 on public-private partnerships (the "PPP Ordinance").

The Ordinance 7 was approved on 28 January 2020 but has been published in the Official Gazette of Romania and entered into force on 7 February 2020. This briefing summarises the key changes brought by Ordinance 7.
