This briefing provides a succinct list of action points that employers should consider in order to ensure that they have adequate procedures in place to prevent bribery by individuals performing services on their behalf, failing which an organisation may be liable for the new offence of failing to prevent bribery which comes into effect on 1 July 2011 and in relation to which unlimited fines may be imposed.
