Amy Ho has substantial experience advising on private and public M&A, private equity, joint venture and strategic transactions in the UK, Hong Kong and the PRC. Her practice includes advising multinational companies on mergers and acquisitions in Hong Kong, China and other parts of Asia as well as Chinese investors on their outbound investments in Asia Pacific and Europe.
Amy heads up our insurance sector in Asia Pacific and she also specialises in China real estate work, having advised real estate funds/investors and developers on numerous real estate investments and divestments in China.
- Advising Svenska Cellulosa Aktiebolaget, a leading global hygiene and forest products company, on the sale of its businesses in Taiwan, South Korea and South East Asia to Vinda International Holdings Limited, one of China's largest hygiene companies which is listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, for an initial consideration of HK$2.8 billion
- Advising The Coca-Cola Company, on the acquisition of the beverage business of China Culiangwang Beverages Limited, a company listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange for US$400.5 million
- Advising ACE Insurance on the integration of its general insurance in Hong Kong with that of Chubb following their US$29.2 billion global merger
- Advising HSBC and Hang Seng Bank on the sale of their general insurance business in Hong Kong, Singapore, Argentina and Mexico to AXA and QBE, respectively
