Clifford Chance advises A.P. Moller Capital on the structuring of a strategic transport and logistics investment fund in Morocco
Clifford Chance has advised A.P. Moller Capital and its subsidiary APM Capital Morocco S.A., on the structuring of the APM Capital Morocco Fund, an investment fund domiciled in Morocco and dedicated to transport and logistics.
The fund, together with co-investment from A.P. Moller Capital’s second fund, totals over US$240 million of commitments for investments in Morocco’s transport and logistics sector.
The fund was established as part of the initiative of the Mohammed VI Investment Fund (FM6I), aimed at catalysing investment, accelerating growth and fostering job creation, with participation from leading Moroccan and international institutional investors.
The Clifford Chance team was led by Frederic Giancarli (Partner), assisted by Salma Chaouni (Associate).

Clifford Chance a conseillé A.P. Moller Capital ainsi que sa filiale APM Capital Morocco S.A. dans le cadre de la structuration de APM Capital Morocco Fund, un fonds d’investissement domicilié au Maroc et dédié aux secteurs du transport et de la logistique.
En co-investissement avec le deuxième fonds d’A.P. Moller Capital, le fonds dispose de plus de 240 millions de dollars US d'engagements pour des investissements dans le secteur du transport et de la logistique au Maroc.
Le fonds a été créé dans le cadre de l’initiative du Fonds Mohammed VI pour l’Investissement (FM6I), visant à catalyser l’investissement, accélérer la croissance et favoriser la création d’emplois, avec la participation d’investisseurs institutionnels marocains et internationaux de premier plan.
L’équipe de Clifford Chance était dirigée par Frédéric Giancarli (Associé), assisté de Salma Chaouni (Collaboratrice).
