Clifford Chance advises Red Star Macalline Holding on the RMB6.3 billion sale of a 29.95% equity interest in Red Star Macalline Group Corporation to Xiamen C&D
Leading international law firm Clifford Chance has advised Red Star Macalline Holding Group Company Limited on the sale of a 29.95% equity interest in Red Star Macalline Group Corporation Ltd. (Stock Code: 1528. HK / Stock Code: 601828. SH) to Xiamen C&D Inc. (Stock Code: 600153. SH) for RMB6.3 billion (US$938 million). The transaction was completed based on a share purchase and sale agreement entered into at the beginning of 2023.
The transaction was led by Hong Kong partners Christine Xu and Tommy Tam, with support from Shanghai counsel Samson Chan, and associates Astrid Zhuang (Shanghai) and Ryan Ho (Hong Kong).
Hong Kong-listed Red Star Macalline Holding Group Co. Ltd. is one of China's largest real estate developers, operating home improvement and furniture stores in China. The main businesses of the Company include the operation of home improvement and furniture shopping malls, home building and design services, sale of home decoration products, sale of goods and related services, provision of other comprehensive services, including strategic advisory services, home design advisory services and commercial real estate development.

国际领先律师事务所高伟绅就红星美凯龙控股集团有限公司向厦门建发股份有限公司（A股股份代号：600153.SH）出售红星美凯龙家居集团股份有限公司（A股股份代号：601828.SH；H股股份代号：1528）29.95% 股权的交易提供法律服务。此次交易是根据 2023年初订立的正式买卖协议进行，对价约为人民币63亿元。
本交易由高伟绅香港办公室合伙人许文嘉（Christine Xu）及合伙人谭诗聪（Tommy Tam）共同领导，项目团队成员包括陈澍森（Samson Chan）、庄立平（Astrid Zhuang）及何宗阳（Ryan Ho）。
