Clifford Chance advises Kingspan on its acquisition of international specialist in lightweight roofing and waterproofing solutions Ondura Group

The firm's Brussels office has advised Kingspan, the Ireland based global leader in advanced insulation and building envelope solutions, on the acquisition of the Ondura Group from French private equity firm, Naxicap Partners.

The Ondura Group is an international French headquartered group specialising in waterproofing solutions for buildings and unites leading companies in their fields: Onduline (light roofing for pitched roofs), CB (breathable membranes for pitch roofs and facades) and Alwitra (high-quality waterproofing systems for flat roofs). It has 12 factories in France, Germany, Poland, Spain, the United States, Malaysia, Brazil and Turkey. The Ondura Group offers products in more than 100 countries and employs about 1,600 people of 28 different nationalities.

Kingspan is a longstanding client of Clifford Chance and we are proud to work with them on another transaction.

The transaction was led by counsel Patrice Viaene together with Brussels associates Audrey Demeyer, Celine Feys, Stéphanie Reul and Sophie Deschuyter.
