Clifford Chance has worked with Deliverect, a Belgian tech scale-up, to advise on its USD 150 million Series D financing round, bringing the company to a post-money valuation of over EUR 1 billion, making it a unicorn. Deliverect joins the few Belgian scale-ups to have achieved unicorn status.

Deliverect offers software that connects third-party food delivery platforms, including Uber Eats, Deliveroo, Doordash, Just Eat Takeaway.com and others, directly to a restaurant's point-of-sale (POS) system, improving the online food delivery experience for restaurants and customers.
The Series D round was led by Alkeon Capital Management and Coatue Management LLC, with existing investors DST Global, Redpoint Ventures, Omers Ventures, Newion and Smartfin. The funds will be used to expand its business into new markets.
Clifford Chance has advised on Deliverect's Series A, B,C and D financing, raising a total of USD 240 million. This latest round further strengthens Clifford Chance's successful track record in advising tech start-ups and scale-ups.
The Brussels team was led by Senior Associate Patrice Viaene, with the support of associates Gillis Waelkens, Haaike Wouters and Arthur Barbé. Patrice and partner Xavier Remy have been assisting the founders of Deliverect since 2014.
