Clifford Chance advises ECOBANK TRANSNATIONAL LIMITED on the issue of USD 75 million perpetual, non cumulative AT1 instrument

Clifford Chance advised ECOBANK TRANSNATIONAL LIMITED ("ETI"), the Lomé based parent of the Ecobank Group on its inaugural issue of an additional tier 1 instrument. It is the first AT1 instrument issued by ETI and a landmark transaction in the sub-Saharan Africa region.
