Clifford Chance has advised Oreades on the successful acquisition of a majority stake in fintech group Brand New Day. The Brand New Day group, which includes Brand New Day Bank N.V. and Brand New Day Vermogensopbouw N.V., is a fast-growing Dutch fintech focusing on the retail market for pension savings and investments.

The acquisition closed on 9 April 2021 and is part of number of transactions aimed at strengthening the capital position and strategic focus of the Brand New Day group, including the sale by Brand New Day of Brand New Day Premiepensioeninstelling N.V. to a.s.r. For more information, click here.
