Clifford Chance advises Shell International on acquisition of Shell Lubricants Japan

Leading international law firm Clifford Chance has advised Shell International Limited (Shell International) on the acquisition of 100 percent of the shares in Shell Lubricants Japan K.K. (Shell Lubricants Japan) through a share purchase agreement signed by Shell Overseas Holdings Limited and Idemitsu Kosan Co., Ltd (Idemitsu Kosan).

Partners Tatsuhiko Kamiyama and Natsuko Sugihara led the team on the share acquisition. They were assisted by counsel Masafumi Shikakura and associates Yuki Hoshinaga, Ito Hisao, Yuri Higashi and Machiko Ishii. Partner Richard Blewett and Masafumi advised on anti-trust aspects of the matter.
