Clifford Chance Sponsors "Powering Innovation Through IP" at Inaugural Mobile World Congress Americas
Clifford Chance today announced that it will be a sponsor at the 2017 Mobile World Congress ("MWC") Americas, a mobile industry event that debuts in America on September 12-14 in San Francisco at the Moscone Center.
Washington, DC-based Timothy Cornell, head of the Firm's US Antitrust Practice, and Brussels Antitrust partner Dieter Paemen will speak at a breakout event, Powering Innovation Through IP. The event is presented in partnership with MWC's startup platform 4YFN ("4 Years From Now"), which enables mobile startups, investors and corporations to connect and launch new ventures together.
Cornell will moderate a panel discussion entitled, The Future of Standards, IP and Innovation, which will include panelists from Deutsche Telekom, Google, Intel and Nokia. Paemen will deliver a keynote speech entitled European Competition Law and Standards.
