Clifford Chance advises on over £1billion construction project at Phase 3 of Battersea Power Station development
Clifford Chance is advising Battersea Power Station Development Company on the construction aspects of Phases 1, 2 and 3 of the landmark Battersea Power Station redevelopment in London. The firm has advised on the project since 2012, initially supporting on its Northern Line underground extension, a critical element to the commercial success of this iconic project.
Phase 3 is the Fosters and Gehry-designed, new build mixed use scheme with construction costs over £1 billion. The firm are also advising on Phase 2, the £1 billion refurbishment of the power station itself, the subject of a significant pre-let to Apple, and on Phase 1, the new build residential offering with construction costs over £500m, recently completed and now occupied by the first residents.
The Clifford Chance team is being led by Head of UK Real Estate Construction, Marianne Toghill. Marianne is supported by senior associates Anna Cornelius and Laurelle Ko, and associate Adam Waite.
