Clifford Chance named European M&A Legal Adviser of the Year 2016 by Mergermarket
International law firm Clifford Chance has been awarded European M&A Legal Adviser of the Year 2016 by Mergermarket. The annual awards are now in their 10th year and recognise the most successful firms in M&A across the continent.
The firm has seen a successful year in 2016. The M&A team across Europe have not only advised major European clients on many complex, cross-border transactions and joint ventures across numerous industries but have also helped many Asian and U.S. clients capitalise on strategic M&A and divestment opportunities in the region.
Clifford Chance is currently ranked Band 1 in Chambers and Partners for Europe-wide and CEE-wide Corporate/M&A. At the end of Q3 2016, MergerMarket ranked the Firm 4th by deal value and 5th by volume for European M&A, having advised on 141 transactions with a total value of US$160bn.
