Clifford Chance advises EnBW on EUR 1 billion hybrid bond
Clifford Chance has advised the energy provider EnBW on issuing a hybrid bond with a total nominal value of around EUR 1 billion.
The subordinated resettable fixed-rate notes were issued in two tranches denominated in different currencies. One tranche has a volume of USD 300 million, an initial interest rate of 5.125% and is due in 2077, while the second tranche has a volume of EUR 725 million, an initial interest rate of 3.375% and is also due in 2077.

Die internationale Anwaltssozietät Clifford Chance hat das Energieversorgungsunternehmen EnBW bei der Emission einer Hybridanleihe im Gesamtnennbetrag von rund 1 Milliarde Euro beraten.
Die Emission der nachrangigen resettable festverzinslichen Anleihe erfolgte in zwei Tranchen unterschiedlicher Währung: Eine Tranche hat ein Volumen von 300 Millionen US-Dollar, eine anfängliche Verzinsung von 5,125 Prozent und wird 2077 fällig. Die zweite Tranche hat ein Volumen von 725 Millionen Euro, eine Anfangsverzinsung von 3,375 Prozent und wird ebenfalls 2077 fällig.
