Eddie Frastai Joins Clifford Chance's US Real Estate Practice

Frastai further strengthens Firm's real estate sector client offerings

Leading international law firm Clifford Chance today announced that Eddie Frastai has joined its Real Estate practice as a partner in New York. He brings with him a broad array of domestic and international experience that will benefit the Firm's expansive real estate sector client base.

Frastai, who joins Clifford Chance from Dentons, has more than a decade of experience advising real estate owners, developers, operators, managers and financial institutions on a broad range of real estate transactions. Frastai has negotiated sales and acquisitions of several major hotels, office towers and development sites in New York, New Jersey and Chicago. He also routinely provides counsel on matters focused on retail, residential and mixed-use projects, including the representation of borrowers and lenders on commercial mortgage, mezzanine and construction financing, and debt restructurings, as well as operating, development and capital partners in joint ventures.

Frastai joins Clifford Chance's global Real Estate practice which is a market-leader for cross-border transactions as well as a recognised domestic player in the US. Frastai is one of a number of recent new partners in the practice, including Angela Kearns in London, Fabian Böhm in Frankfurt and lateral hire, Alexandre Couturier in Paris.

Frastai earned his JD from New York University School of Law in 2002 and graduated magna cum laude with a BA from New York University in 1999.
