Clifford Chance advises a banking syndicate on the refinancing of a syndicated loan granted to VNG Leipzig
Clifford Chance has advised a banking syndicate led by Commerzbank AG and Deutsche Bank AG on the refinancing of a syndicated master loan agreement granted to VNG – Verbundnetz Gas Aktiengesellschaft, Leipzig (Germany).
The unsecured syndicated loan has a volume of approximately 1.3 billion Euro and may be called exclusively on the basis of bilateral credit lines established separately with the individual syndicate banks.
The refinancing in cooperation with a total of 14 banks has a term of five years and replaces the financing package agreed in 2013.

Die internationale Anwaltssozietät Clifford Chance hat ein Bankenkonsortium unter der Führung der Commerzbank AG und der Deutsche Bank AG bei der Refinanzierung eines Konsortialrahmenkreditvertrags für die VNG – Verbundnetz Gas Aktiengesellschaft, Leipzig, beraten.
Der unbesicherte Konsortialkredit hat ein Volumen von rund 1,3 Milliarden Euro und kann ausschließlich durch bilaterale Kreditlinien in Anspruch genommen werden, die mit den einzelnen Konsortialbanken separat eingerichtet wurden.
Die Refinanzierung unter Beteiligung von insgesamt 14 Banken hat eine Laufzeit von 5 Jahren und löst das 2013 abgeschlossene Finanzierungspaket ab.
