Clifford Chance advises KKR on its investment into Afriflora

Leading international law firm Clifford Chance is advising Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. Partners LLP (KKR) on its investment in Afriflora, a leading large-scale rose grower and distributor. The company’s main growing facility is located in Ziway, Ethiopia and is the largest single rose growing facility in the world.

The Clifford Chance team was led by London and Amsterdam-based Corporate partner Thijs Alexander who was assisted by counsel Han Teerink.

This news comes days after Clifford Chance was named Overall Legal Advisor of the Year at the 2014 Private Equity Africa Awards.
