Clifford Chance boosts leading insurance group with hire of Ashley Prebble
Leading international law firm, Clifford Chance announced today that Ashley Prebble is to join the firm's tier one ranked corporate insurance practice in London.
Ashley Prebble is currently a corporate insurance partner at Norton Rose Fulbright with particular expertise in the Lloyd's and London Market and general insurance. He specialises in corporate and regulatory insurance work including initial public offerings (IPOs), mergers and acquisitions, Part VII transfers, distribution agreements and regulatory matters.
At Norton Rose Fulbright, Ashley Prebble has advised on a number of high profile insurance transactions including the Part VII transfer of Royal Bank of Scotland's Churchill, Direct Line and NIG businesses into UK Insurance; the £135m sale of HSBC Insurance Brokers to Marsh; Admiral Group plc’s £711 million IPO; Brit Insurance Holdings' $300m sale of Brit Insurance Limited to Riverstone Holdings; and the restructuring of the Combined Insurance Company of America following its acquisition by ACE through multiple portfolio transfers.
