Clifford Chance Asia Pacific wins multiple industry awards in one night

Hong Kong: Leading international law firm Clifford Chance is pleased to announce it has received a number of industry awards last Thursday night at two separate legal industry gatherings.

The first was International Financial Law Review (IFLR)'s annual Asia Awards dinner held in Hong Kong. The firm won "International Law Firm of the Year" and was also involved on two winning deals: the Debt and equity-linked deal of the year for Axiata sukuk multi-currency programme, and the Project finance deal of the year for Tanjung Bin coal-fired IPP. Clifford Chance was also shortlisted in all eight team of the year categories.

The second was Chambers China Awards for Excellence 2013 covering both Hong Kong and China as a single jurisdiction, which was held last night in Beijing. Clifford Chance was awarded the prestigious "China International Law Firm of the Year", "Singapore International Law Firm of the Year and "China Corporate Law Firm of the Year". The evening also featured the launch of the 2013 edition of the Chambers Asia Pacific Guide, a well-regarded independent industry guide ranking law firms and lawyers based on research and interviews. Clifford Chance China earned15 Tier 1 rankings in China and Clifford Chance Singapore earned nine Tier 1 rankings, both higher than any other international law firm.
