Clifford Chance partners re-elect Matthew Layton as global head of Corporate
Clifford Chance corporate partners have elected Matthew Layton to serve a further four year term as global leader of the Firm's Corporate practice, following an uncontested election.
Matthew was first elected to this role in 2008 and will commence his new four year term on 1 November, 2012.

Matthew joined Clifford Chance in 1983 and has been a partner since 1991 as part of the Corporate practice.
Clifford Chance's Corporate practice recently topped Mergermarket's league table of legal advisers for Global M&A by value during the first three quarters of 2012, advising on 152 deals worth £138,990m.
