Clifford Chance advises The Carlyle Group on the sale of its commercial building at Gänsemarkt (Hamburg)
The international law firm Clifford Chance advised a real estate fund managed by The Carlyle Group on the sale of its office and retail building located at "Gänsemarkt 45" in Hamburg to Invesco Real Estate GmbH, Munich. The purchase price amounted to approx. EUR 63.5 million.
The eight-storey building was completed in 2008 and consists of 9,000 sqm office space and 2,800 sqm retail space.
Invesco Real acquired the property for its open-ended pan-European real estate fund for institutional investors.
The Carlyle Group, a global asset manager with offices in 19 countries manages approx. USD 107 billion in 84 funds (as per 31 December 2010).

Die internationale Anwaltssozietät Clifford Chance hat einen von The Carlyle Group verwalteten Real Estate Fund beim Verkauf des Hamburger Büro- und Geschäftshauses "Gänsemarkt 45" an Invesco Real Estate GmbH, München, beraten. Der Kaufpreis betrug rund 63,5 Millionen Euro.
Das 2008 fertiggestellte, achtgeschossige Gebäude umfasst rund 9.000 Quadratmeter Bürofläche und 2.800 Quadratmeter Ladenfläche.
Invesco Real erwirbt das Objekt für seinen offenen pan-europäischen Immobilienfonds für institutionelle Anleger.
