Clifford Chance recruits senior antitrust lawyer

Amsterdam, 21 January 2011 – International law firm Clifford Chance welcomes Steven Verschuur into its antitrust practice.

Steven Verschuur (33), specialises in competition law, state aid and public procurement law and also has relevant work experience in the energy and healthcare sectors.  Steven has 10 years antitrust experience, having worked previously with Freshfields and KienhuisHoving.  In 2010 he successfully defended a dissertation on state measures and the enforcement of competition law by national competition authorities and he is the principal editor of the Tijdschrift voor Staatssteun (Legal Journal for State Aid).  Steven graduated in 2002 with a European law degree from the University of Liège and a Dutch law degree from the University of Utrecht in 2001.
