Practical Competition Law recommendations for companies participating in public tenders in Spain

In the past five years, the Spanish Antitrust Authority (Comisión Nacional de los Mercados y la Competencia, "CNMC") has imposed penalties in excess of 530 million euros for competition infringements involving public procurement, with both the CNMC and regional antitrust authorities having bid-rigging investigations as one of their priority areas.
