First fines for GDPR breaches in Romania

In July 2019, the Romanian Data Protection Authority (the "ANSPDCP") announced the application of the first fines for the breach of the Regulation (EU) no. 2016/679 on the protection of natural persons regarding the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (the "GDPR") against UniCredit Bank, World Trade Centre Bucharest and Legal Company & Tax Hub, the owner of the "Avocatoo" legal blog.
