US Congress Passes Dodd-Frank Reform Legislation With a “Clarification” (and Little Else) for Foreign Banks

On May 24, 2018, the Economic Growth, Regulatory Relief, and Consumer Protection Act was signed into law, following a 258-159 vote in the US House of Representatives, which adopted without any changes the version of the legislation passed by the Senate earlier this year.
