Regulatory challenges immediately ahead – The PRIIPs KID regime

Aiming at improving the transparency of packaged retail and insurance-based investment products (PRIIPs) offered to retail investors by promoting a levelled playing field between different products and distribution channels across the European Union, Regulation (EU) No 1286/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council on key information documents for packaged retail and insurance-based investment products (the PRIIPs KID regime) will enter into force on the 1st of January 2018.
