Madalina specialises in Capital Markets, Debt Finance, and Project Development & Finance.
Notably, she coordinated major capital markets transactions on local and international markets (shares and GDRs offerings and listings, MTN programmes, bonds issues) involving large companies in Romania, establishing herself as an expert in the field. Her international experience includes a secondment to the Clifford Chance's London capital markets group.
She also has vast experience in finance and project finance, with a special focus on the Energy & Naturas Resources sector.
- Advising Fondul Proprietatea, in relation to its secondary listing on the London Stock Exchange (2014-2015)
- Advising a bank consortium, in relation to the dual listing of shares and GDRs by Romgaz S.A., the largest natural-gas producer in Romania, on the Bucharest and London stock exchanges (2012-2013)
- Advising UniCredit Tiriac Bank, on the domestic RON550 million (approximately EUR€122 million) bond issue successfully closed and listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange - the largest ever launched in Romania (2013)
- Advising Ciech SA, shareholder of Uzinele Sodice Govora and the largest chemical producer in Central and Eastern Europe, in relation to its successful bonds issue on the American market (2012)
- Advising Erste Group, as arranger on the €3 billion MTN Programme launched by Banca Comerciala Romana, the first MTN programme launched by a Romanian entity (2009)
