New pre-action protocol for the resolution of disputes in the Russian Federation (English)

Today, on 1 June 2016, the Federal Law "On the Incorporation of Amendments to the Arbitrazh Procedure Code of the Russian Federation"[1] enters into force, establishing, among other things, a compulsory pre-action protocol for the resolution of civil disputes.


 

[1] Federal Law No. 47-FZ of 2 March 2016 "On the Incorporation of Amendments to the Arbitrazh Procedure Code of the Russian Federation". The amendments are made to Article 4(5) of the Arbitrazh Procedure Code of the RF (the "APC RF").
