Consumer protection in Spain. Customer service under consumer protection law: Act 10/2025

Businesses that sell products or provide paid services to consumers are required to have a customer service department. In this briefing we analyse the new Spanish Customer Service Act 10/2025, of 26 December, which aims to improve the effectiveness of this service by setting out quality standards and systems for assessing and auditing the correct handling of customer-related enquiries, complaints, claims and incidents.
