Arcus Pride Art 2025 – Singapore

Explore our gallery

Now in its 19th year, Arcus Pride Art is more than just an exhibition: it is a platform for dialogue, understanding, and unity.

Our theme this year is Voices of Pride – a celebration of the LGBTQ+ community, both within our firm and beyond, showcasing the rich tapestry of experiences and perspectives through the medium of art.

Arcus, our global LGBTQ+ and allies' network, is proud to collaborate with curator Dylan Chan to bring this year's exhibition to life. Our affinity networks and events are open to all, reflecting our commitment to inclusivity and collaboration worldwide.

We are thrilled to present the inspiring works of local artists Gianna Chun, Daniel Chong, Lizzie Wee and Ezzam Rahman, each offering a unique and deeply personal interpretation of pride, language, and identity.

Gianna Chun

Gianna Chun is a photo-based artist from Hong Kong and Singapore, currently based in Singapore after receiving her BFA in photography (2021) at the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) and working in New York City.

She spent the majority of her life growing up in Beijing, China, and the amalgamation of different cultures has led her to address the question “What is Home?”

Daniel Chong (he/him)

Daniel Chong (he/him) (b. 1995, Singapore) is an artist-curator that works between the quiet slippages of function and sentimentality. Working through subtlety, his works evoke an emotive sense of longing and desire. Chong engages with materialism as a means to unearth sentimental connections through objects, but centred in our understanding of them through their use.

Lizzie Wee

Lizzie Wee is a Singaporean multidisciplinary artist, curator, designer, illustrator, art director and video editor. She has lived in many cities including Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong, Berlin, Boston, New York and Singapore. Her present practice-based research investigates notions of identity and belonging; through an examination of archetypal female roles found in Southeast Asian pop culture and visual media. Her works are expressed through video, performance, writing for performance and multimedia installation.

Ezzam Rahman

Ezzam Rahman (b. 1981, Singapore) is a multi-disciplinary artist known for his interest in the body and the use of common, easily accessible, yet unconventional media in his art practice. Working across sculpture, installation, digital media, and performance, he creates works that are often autobiographical, time-based, and ephemeral, aiming to pique viewers’ thoughts on the themes of body politics, identity, impermanence, traces, and abjection.
