Clifford Chance advised Nicox on its capital increase
Nicox, an international ophthalmology company, completed a financing through a private placement of 6,849,316 new shares with warrants attached to subscribe up to 6,849,316 new shares. The gross proceeds of this financing amount to €10 million, without taking into account the possible exercise of the warrants attached.
Clifford Chance's Paris office advised Nicox on this transaction with a team led by Aline Cardin, partner, consisting of Clément Delaruelle and Jean-Christophe Urrutia--Calvet, associates, advising on matters of French law, and Alex Bafi, partner, Olivier Plessis, counsel, and Garo Yaghsezian, associate, advising on US securities law matters.

Nicox, société internationale spécialisée en ophtalmologie, a réalisé une levée de fonds par placement privé de 6 849 316 actions nouvelles, assorties chacune d'un bon de souscription d'actions donnant droit au total à 6 849 316 actions nouvelles. Le produit brut de cette levée de fonds est de 10 millions d’euros, sans tenir compte de l'exercice éventuel des bons de souscription associés.
