Kevin Colan

Kevin Colan's experience includes representing and advising private equity funds, investment firms and pension funds in connection with the acquisition and disposition of portfolio companies, and providing counsel to public and private companies in connection with strategic acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures and investments.

He also represents and advises corporate and partnership issuers in connection with structuring and issuing equity and debt instruments and other financings, and hedge funds in connection with structuring and acquiring investments in public and private companies.

  • Shopify Inc., a multinational ecommerce platform headquartered in Canada, in its acquisition of Deliverr Inc., a California-based ecommerce fulfillment company, for cash and stock worth US$2.1 billion
  • Apollo Global Management, through its Impact platform, in its acquisition of Tony’s Finer Foods, a family-owned grocery chain
  • Insight Partners in financing the acquisition by Kaseya, an IT management and security software provider, of Datto, a security software provider, in a transaction valuing Datto at US$6.2 billion
