Michael Pettingill has broad experience in commercial real estate, asset-based and structured finance, securitization and derivatives transactions.
Michael represents agent banks on secured and unsecured syndicated REIT credit facilities, and represents life insurance companies, real estate funds and joint ventures in commercial real estate financings, acquisitions, dispositions, restructurings and workouts. Michael also represents life insurance companies in asset-based lending transactions and CLO warehouse facilities.

- A Shari'a-compliant real estate fund as borrower on acquisition financing for Amazon industrial facilities.
- Silvermine Capital Management on multiple cash and synthetic CLO transactions and in its merger with Man Group PLC.
