Chanuth Tansomboon specialises in asset finance and advises a wide range of international aircraft lessors and global financial institutions, with a primary focus on structured lending, operating lease and aircraft trading transactions.
He is currently placed in our Singapore Restructuring and Insolvency team. In 2019, Chanuth undertook a 16 month client secondment at GE Capital Aviation Services Limited (GECAS).
- Advised various lender syndicates on the proposed US Chapter 11 restructuring of Philippines Airlines
- Advised a NY-headquartered global aircraft leasing company on the purchase and lease back of five A320-200 aircraft to a Philippine-based airline
- Advised the lenders on a USD$600 million revolving and term loan facility for AerCap, the aircraft lessor
- Advised the lenders on the financing of an Airbus A350-900 aircraft for Thai Airways
- Advised Ping An International Financial Leasing on their first ever aviation financings on lease to LATAM
- Advised the lenders on a Japanese operating lease financing for JP Lease Products & Services for the acquisition of two Boeing 767-300 aircraft and an Airbus A321-200 aircraft
