Isabelle Comhaire specialises in commercial law, civil law, employment law and data protection law. She acts for banks and other professionals of the financial sector as well as for insurance companies and commercial and industrial companies and has over 20 years of experience in these areas.
- Advised a major private equity fund in relation to its setting-up in Luxembourg. In particular, we advised them on their obligations as operating entity in Luxembourg from an employment
- Advised two major banks to review their long term incentive plans both from an employment / contractual and from a regulatory perspective (CRD IV requirements)
- Assisted a real estate group on all types of employment law questions, reviewed their internal policies and their existing employment agreements, and helped them to harmonize amongst various entities via amendment agreements the terms and conditions of their various employment contracts.
- Advising a major media group and its subsidiaries on an ongoing basis on all kinds of employment law issues including multijurisdictional questions and regarding the modification of various internal policies, redundancies of senior executives, secondment of senior executives abroad, appointment of senior executives, negotiations with labour unions etc
- Advising on an ongoing basis a major investment management organisation on the various steps/formalities to be complied with from an employment/data protection perspective following its decision to set up/incorporate several branches and subsidiaries in Luxembourg
- Advised a major Luxembourg insurance company on the possibility to implement software in their IT systems which would allow the production of statistics on the work performed by the employees
- Advised an insurance on the restructuring of its group legal structure and operating model, by the establishment of several separate legal entities to serve as the employing legal entity for certain SRG employees who were before the restructuring
