Adriana is a Senior Associate in the Litigation & Dispute Resolution group in London. She specialises in complex litigation, international commercial arbitration and public international law.

Adriana has acted in disputes across the infrastructure, energy and aviation sectors for private and government clients in courts and various arbitral forums, including under the ICC, UNCITRAL and SIAC rules of arbitration. She advises on a range of public international law issues, including treaty interpretation and the law of the sea.

  • Representing an aircraft manufacturer against a claim brought by a major airline in the English High Court in relation to the condition of certain aircraft.
  • Representing a carbon trading body to obtain an injunction in support of arbitration pursuant to s 44 of the Arbitration Act 1996 (UK) in the English High Court.
  • Representing a leading energy company in international arbitration proceedings under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996 (India) arising out of the supply of goods and equipment for an oilfield services project in India.
  • Representing and advising an Asia-Pacific State in its maritime boundary and land border disputes with a neighboring state, including on secondment as Legal Advisor.*
  • Representing an international joint venture in arbitration arising from an EPC subcontract relating to the construction of the Ichthys LNG Project.*
  • Advising petroleum extractors in respect of investor protections and ISDS under bilateral and multilateral investment treaties.*
