Juan Puras specialises in restructuring and refinancing, corporate financing, export financing and guarantee facilities. He acts for lenders and borrowers in a number of multijurisdictional transactions, often involving CESCE (Spanish Export Credit Agency).
- Advised Eroski on its corporate and financial restructuring.
- Advised Vauban and Aberdeen on a EUR 1.2 billion refinancing of Barcelona Metro Line 9, section I.
- Advised Banco Santander and a pool of banks on a EUR 520.5 million syndicated guarantee facility agreement with a CESCE (Spanish ECA) tranche.
- Advised Banco Sabadell on a CESCE covered export credit facility agreement to partially finance the acquisition of vessels.
