Joe is a member of the Restructuring & Insolvency team in Hong Kong, advising financial institutions, funds, debtors, insolvency practitioners and other stakeholders on a range of restructuring and insolvency-related matters.

In 2025-2026 Joe was seconded to the Alts legal team at a US investment management firm, covering a range of private credit, distressed, restructuring and asset-based deals.

Joe also has significant experience in aviation transactional and advisory work, advising lessors, banks and other investors on cross-border operating lease, structured finance and aircraft trading matters, as well as distressed scenarios.

Prior to joining Clifford Chance, Joe worked for another international law firm in its London, Bangkok and Singapore offices.
