Clifford Chance assists AYES with the launch of their new app OKO, helping blind and visually impaired people navigate safely
Clifford Chance Brussels have assisted AYES, a Belgium start-up based in Antwerp, on the capital raise to finance their new app OKO. The app recognises pedestrian traffic lights to let people know whether it is red or green based on artificial intelligence technology, which will help many blind and visually impaired people on their daily commute.
The Clifford Chance team was led by Senior Associate Patrice Viaene with the support of Gillis Waelkens and Arthur Barbé.
In this week of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, Clifford Chance is delighted to support AYES, supporting and positively impacting the mobility of blind and visually impaired people.
