Clifford Chance Amsterdam boosts Financial Markets Group with the hire of Dewi Walian

Leading international law firm Clifford Chance welcomes Dewi Walian as counsel into its Financial Markets Group in Amsterdam. Dewi has extensive experience in debt capital markets and has an excellent reputation for her ability to provide tailor-made advice in high yield, convertible, investment grade and regulatory driven debt offerings and restructurings.

Dewi joins Clifford Chance from NautaDutilh, where she worked since 2011 and was appointed counsel in April 2020. Previously, she spent two years (2015-2016) in London, where she further expanded her extensive experience in international top-tier capital markets transactions. She has also been on secondment in the Legal Financial Markets team at Rabobank (2013) and the ECM and DCM teams at ABN AMRO (2020). In 2015, Dewi captured the third place on the Best Young Professionals Law Top 50 list, making her the highest ranked woman on the list. Dewi graduated in law from the University of Amsterdam in 2010.
