Clifford Chance announces the appointment of four newly promoted senior associates in the Czech Republic

Leading international law firm Clifford Chance is delighted to announce the promotion of four of its lawyers to the position of senior associate at its Prague office:

  • Aneta Sosnovcová, Real Estate
  • Jan Dobrý, Litigation and Dispute Resolution
  • Milan Rákosník, Real Estate
  • Marian Husár, Banking and Finance

Aneta Sosnovcová specialises in investment, divestments and asset management in the real estate and construction sector. A graduate of Charles University, Aneta's profile in the real estate industry has grown considerably in recent years through her involvement in a number of high-profile, complex transactions both in the Czech Republic and throughout the CEE region. Aneta has also built up a strong reputation in corporate M&A transactions.

Jan Dobrý specialises in all forms of dispute resolution, judicial review of administrative decisions and competition law. Since joining Clifford Chance in 2009, Jan has steadily built up a strong profile and gained significant expertise in the commercial, energy and construction sectors from a litigious, regulatory and competition perspective, while also playing a key role in consolidating the firm's restructuring and insolvency practice.

Milan Rákosník specialises in real estate M&A, asset management and real estate financing. His competence in the retail, office and logistics sectors have gained him considerable praise and he is seen as having a bright future in the CEE real estate market. A graduate of Charles University's Faculty of Law and the University of Economics in Prague, Milan furthered his studies at the prestigious Red McCombs Business School at the University of Texas.

Marian Husár specialises in banking & finance, in particular acquisition and real estate finance (including transactions involving mezzanine and high yield debt), and capital markets law. A dual Czech/English law qualified associate, Marian's rapidly growing experience in diverse and complex financing transactions has earned him an excellent reputation among leading Czech banks and domestic borrowers. In 2015, Marian completed his postgraduate law studies at Oxford University with distinction.

"I would like to congratulate our new senior associates Aneta, Jan, Milan and Marian. They are a hugely talented group of lawyers, who I have every confidence will make an excellent contribution to developing their respective practice areas. These promotions reflect the strong focus that Clifford Chance places on developing our own talented lawyers and ensuring we have the right personnel in place to achieve our goals," said Alex Cook, managing partner of the firm's Prague Office.
