Clifford Chance wins Legal Adviser of the Year at TMT Finance Middle East Awards

Clifford Chance was again recognised for its regional strength in the TMT sector last Monday by being named Legal Adviser of the Year at the TMT Finance Middle East Awards for the second year in a row.

In 2010, Clifford Chance advised on a number of high-profile groundbreaking deals in the TMT sector. Highlights include: Etisalat's proposed US$12 billion acquisition of Zain, American Tower's joint venture with MTN Group Limited, Saudi Telecom's directory services outsourcing joint venture with Aegis, American Tower's purchase of passive infrastructure from Oger Telecom's South African affiliate (Cell C) and du's landmark AED1 billion proposed rights issue.
