Clifford Chance received the much coveted Europe Law Firm of the Year Award at the Chambers Europe Awards 2018, alongside three National Law Firm of the Year Awards which collectively reflect the firm's stand-out network and resources in the region. The firm was shortlisted in a total of nine categories, itself unprecedented, in an Awards initiative based predominantly on feedback from clients.

Clifford Chance's three Chambers Europe 2018 National Law Firm of the Year Awards are as follows:

• Czech Republic Law Firm of the Year: The accolade recognises a strong year for the firm's Prague office, which has worked on a number of high calibre instructions in the areas of corporate, private equity and tax.
• Poland Law Firm of the Year: The team has acted on some top drawer mandates in the past year, including one of the largest recent transactions in the European banking sector and multiple high profile corporate financings.
• Luxembourg Law Firm of the Year: The firm's Luxembourg office also had an impressive year, advising a range of high profile clients on their pressing and complex instructions in a range of markets and sectors.

The success at the Chambers Awards in Madrid on Friday 20 April 2018 follows Clifford Chance's achievements at the IFLR Europe 2018 Awards in London the previous evening, where the firm scooped ten awards including the prestigious International Law Firm of the Year Award.
