Contributing to a more sustainable world

Our approach to environmental sustainability

We recognise that embedding sustainability and climate risk management into our operations is essential – not only for the health of our planet, but for the long-term resilience of our firm. The Environment pillar of our approach to responsible business reflects this commitment, underpinned by a clear climate framework designed to enhance the resilience of our business model and support the global transition to a low-carbon economy.

Emissions reduction goals

Our firm has validated science-based greenhouse gas emissions reduction targets.

We aim to reduce absolute Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions 80% by FY30 from a FY20 base year, and to reduce absolute Scope 3 GHG emissions by 47% within the same time frame. Our long-term target is a 90% reduction in our absolute Scope 1, 2 and 3 GHG emissions by FY50 from our FY20 base year.

Our Net Zero Delivery Group plays a central role in driving our emissions reduction plan, with a focus on supplier emissions and firm-wide engagement.

Responsible Business Report 2025

During the financial year ended 30 April 2025 (FY25) we focused on strengthening our capabilities to remain adaptable and resilient – guided by the needs of our clients, our people and the long-term sustainability of our firm.
