Our M&A practice is regarded as one of the leading M&A practices in Singapore. With the regional strength in this area, we are uniquely positioned to advise companies on national and pan-Asian transactions attracting clients seeking advice on the most sophisticated and complex M&A transactions. Amongst our recent headline M&A transactions, we advised CVC Asia and JP Morgan Partners on their purchase of the Yellow Pages business from SingTel and United Overseas Bank on its acquisitions of Bank of Asia in Thailand and of a 23% interest in Bank Buana in Indonesia.

We also have a leading Capital Markets practice, incorporating US capability at partner and associate level. We also advised Maxis and Astro as international counsel on their award winning IPOs in Malaysia, as well as the SingPost IPO and the A-REITS IPOs in Singapore.

A place to work

With a population of about 4 million people and a land mass of about 650 square kilometres, Singapore may appear physically small in comparison to some of its neighbours, but its warm and friendly atmosphere is out of proportion to its geographic size. It is an ultra modern and efficient place to live, whilst retaining much of its colonial charm. The warm climate, outdoor living culture, outstanding variety of food and close proximity to neighbouring countries, presents a top-class living environment, and an idyllic beach is never far away.
