Luxembourg transposes the Mobility Directive

The law of 17 February 2025 (the "Law") transposing the Directive (EU) 2019/2121 (the “Mobility Directive”), amending Directive (EU) 2017/1132 regarding cross-border conversions, mergers, and divisions has been published on 26 February 2025 and will come into force on 2 March 2025. This Law introduces significant changes to cross-border mergers and establishes a legal framework for cross-border conversions and divisions within the EU.
